The story
Tempers make their debut in Braga on October 17th at Lustre, closing out the Portuguese leg of Delusion. It is the first time the band is playing in the city—and the last of the three nights, bringing their tour of Portugal and Europe to a grand finale.
"Delusion," released on April 24, 2026 on their own label fear of luxury (distributed by Cascine/Secretly), is their most ambitious album to date. Ten tracks co-produced by Golestaneh and Jorge Elbrecht that treat illusion not as a sudden break with reality, but as a process—something one learns, depends on, and finds hard to break free from. It opens with Sublevel, dissolves into the destabilized intimacy of Rise and Fall Fetish, and maintains an unresolved tension between autonomy and desire in Who Says. Along the way, it shifts from synth-pop to techno, featuring metallic edges, strings, and ballad moments. "I'm exploring the line between self-invention and self-erasure," says Golestaneh.
Golestaneh says the visual dimension is inseparable from the record: the cover is an original collage by the artist herself, inspired by the idea of a black swan event—the unpredictable occurrence that is only rationalized after the fact. Around the release, she invited collaborators from other disciplines: writer Estelle Hoy reinterpreted the lyrics in a book titled "Remixed," artist Sandra Mujinga contributed a remix of Rise and Fall Fetish, and visual artist Camille Henrot designed a capsule collection of 20 t-shirts.
