The story
Tempers return to Porto on October 16 and return to the exact same venue: it was at the CCOP Auditorium that the band played in the city on November 26, 2022 to present "New Meaning", in the first concert series organized by Crowdmusic. Four years and an album later, "Delusion" makes its way back to the same stage.
"Delusion", released on April 24, 2026 on their own label fear of luxury (distributed by Cascine/Secretly), is their most ambitious record to date. Ten tracks co-produced by Golestaneh and Jorge Elbrecht that traverse illusion not as a sudden break with reality, but as a process — something one learns, depends on, and struggles to break free from. It opens on Sublevel, ominous and transcendent, dissolves into the destabilized intimacy of Rise and Fall Fetish, and maintains in Who Says an unresolved tension between autonomy and desire. Along the way it moves from synth-pop to techno, with metallic edges, strings, and ballad moments. "I'm exploring the line between self-invention and self-erasure", Golestaneh says.
The visual dimension is inseparable from the record: the cover is an original collage by herself, inspired by the idea of a black swan event — the unpredictable occurrence that is only rationalized afterwards. Around the release, she invited collaborators from other disciplines: writer Estelle Hoy reinterpreted the lyrics in a book titled "Remixed", artist Sandra Mujinga signs a remix of Rise and Fall Fetish, and visual artist Camille Henrot designed a capsule of 20 t-shirts.
