The Messthetics & James Brandon Lewis + Tatiana Paris

Formed in 2018, The Messthetics is a supergroup composed of bassist Joe Lally and drummer Brendan Canty from the legendary punk-hardcore project Fugazi, alongside guitarist Anthony Pirog. This trio with "jazz punk jam" sounds was soon joined by saxophonist James Brandon Lewis, who brings a new dimension to their tracks, pushing musical explorations even further. Their first album as a foursome was released in the spring of 2024 on the legendary Impulse! label.

With t h a l l e, Tatiana Paris continues her exploration of delicate and organic music, where autonomous elements meet to form a harmonious whole. Between experimental chanson, minimalism, and stretched soundscapes, she blends prepared guitar, voice, modular synthesis, and organ in a sensitive research centered around time, listening, and randomness. A singular proposition at the crossroads of noise music and contemplation.
