* The Prize Power Pop (Melbourne, Australia)

This delightful quintet arrives with three guitars and five harmonized vocals, delivering power pop of a quality the city hasn't heard in years.

Born in early 2021, the band composed and rehearsed between lockdowns to give birth to a mix of power pop and rock 'n' roll that is as clever as it is punchy.

Their sound blends the hook-writing sense of The Nerves, the twin-guitar duels of Thin Lizzy, and the minor chords of the Flamin’ Groovies (later era), all propelled by the power of the Ramones and the raw energy of The Angels ("Face to Face" era) or early Divinyls. Their influences are also glaringly obvious on their sensational cover of "Fighting My Way Back", an overlooked 1979 power pop gem by British outfit The Incredible Kidda Band.

* Brower Rock n’Roll (NYC, US)

BROWER is an undeniable rock 'n' roll force of nature straight out of New York. Featuring members of Josephine Network, Dirty Fences, Hershguy Band, SUO, Nancy, and Metalleg, this quartet delivers a masterclass performance—a true rock 'n' roll tour de force usually reserved for massive arenas, the kind that have seen the likes of Status Quo, Thin Lizzy, Cheap Trick, or the Beatles pass through.

* Roberta Lips Power pop (Paris)

Roberta Lips is 4 girls, sweet pop, and garage energy. Sticky melodies and slamming instruments. The band draws its influences from 70s garage (The Runaways, Nikki and the Corvettes) through to riot grrrl (Bikini Kill) and 90s indie pop (Los Fresones Rebeldes, Vacaciones).

On stage, the set is polished, instinctive, and no-nonsense. With unapologetic innocence, the four Parisians never apologize for being loud and string together hits like pearls on a necklace.
