The Wedding Present will play a series of concerts in Germany in 2026 to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the release of their groundbreaking album "Seamonsters".

Following the release of "Seamonsters" — recorded in 1991 over twelve days by the legendary Steve Albini — "The Guardian" wrote: "Albini has given The Wedding Present considerable weight, with Gedge's voice drifting through rows of darkly frowning guitars" and included the album in its list of "1,000 Albums to Hear Before You Die". Despite its uncompromising sound, the album reached number 13 on the UK album charts and was celebrated as a classic.

At all concert dates, the band will play "Seamonsters" in its entirety, along with other songs carefully selected from their extensive repertoire.

RCA Records is also celebrating the anniversary with a limited reissue of the album on "Deep Sea Blue" colored BioVinyl.
