**Born into one of Tanzania’s most celebrated musical families, The Zawose Queens bring spirit and fire to every performance.**
Rooted in the traditions of the Wagogo people, sisters Pendo and Leah blend ancestral rhythms with modern electronic textures, weaving hypnotic percussion, subtle beats and soaring harmonies.
Singing in Kigogo, their lyrics celebrate life, music, and pride in their East African heritage.
Their debut album *Maisha* marks the first time women from this iconic family step forward as lead vocalists and performers.
