Created in partnership with the Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau, commissioned by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, this Tokyo Night celebrates the cultural and nightlife vitality of the Japanese capital through cinema, music, and the city's universe.

🎬 PAPRIKA — Satoshi Kon In the museum's Rotunda, discover or rediscover Paprika, the cult Japanese animation film, in partnership with Sony Pictures.

Two screenings are scheduled: 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM 9:15 PM – 10:45 PM Capacity limited to 40 people per screening, subject to availability.

🌃 TOKYO NIGHT ON THE ROOFTOP

Starting at 7 PM, head to the terrace with a specially curated playlist centered around Tokyo, before handing over to Vega Voga from 9 PM to 11:30 PM.

A Japanese composer, producer, and DJ based in Paris, Vega Voga develops a musical world at the crossroads of electro, experimental pop, and hidden gems from elsewhere. A selection conceived as a journey between Paris and Tokyo, with the Eiffel Tower as a backdrop.

🏯 TOKYO × GUIMET

The evening will also continue in the heart of the museum with the opening of the 2nd-floor Japan collections, creating a dialogue between today's Tokyo and the Japanese arts and heritage presented by Guimet.

Between cinema, music, Japanese culture, and views of Paris, join us on September 11th for a night in the colors of Tokyo.
