Tribal Sound System by Misantropical & Couvre x Chefs

TRIBAL SOUND SYSTEM, created by Rosa Pistola and spearheaded by La Chekera Rec, arrives for the first time in Paris - presented by Misantropical and Couvre x Chefs.

Born in Mexico, tribal is the violent and poetic fusion of earthly grounding and electronic modernity. For the first time in Paris, we are dedicating this evening to exploring the full richness of this movement and its many nuances. From frantic Tribal Guarachero to the pre-Hispanic flute melodies of Tribal Prehispánico, passing through Tektribal which marries hardtek with pre-Hispanic percussions. A dynamic scene where cumbia, guaracha, bass, and club music share the same spaces and enrich one another.

This energy will be driven by Freebot, global pioneer of Tektribal and Basscumbia, a key figure of the global scene connecting traditional roots and electronic avant-garde. Alongside him, Zutzut, historical figure of the Mexican scene and member of the NAAFI collective, will come to deconstruct Mexican musics to propel them toward deep experimentalism. Residents from the collectives, Rara Ma Rabbia, Bile Noire, Scarlett, and Philou cxc, complete this trance with their passion for tribal and club culture.
