Another dream duo to celebrate contemporary techno at 22 Rue Jobin, featuring the now essential VEL and her partner for the evening, Maelita.

An emblematic figure of the Moroccan Techno scene, VEL is a regular visitor to Marseille, and she returns in top form for her very first home game almost 2 years after the release of her acclaimed debut album, "There is a solution".

Embodying all hopes for the revival of a free and creative scene, we loved her latest purely Ambient project, "Cuddle Protocol", seeing in it the full maturity of an accomplished artist.

We particularly love the finesse she has brought to modern Techno production on French soil, always hitting the right note, and above all, the beautiful one.

Capable of taking us down all the steepest paths of club science like her counterpart for the evening, Maelita is also one of those artists who inspire us, through her conception of electronic music, her ability to combine rhythms and musical identities, to create a cauldron of sensations, emotions, and bodily movement. Acid House, IDM, Breakbeat, Trance... So much more to discover at the heart of a set crafted by the French DJ and producer whom we can't wait to see at the controls of our booth.

—————— VEL Originally from Rabat, Vel discovered electronic music when she arrived in Lyon for engineering studies. A first night at Le Sucre marked a decisive turning point and led her to get fully involved in club culture. She has been a resident there since 2022. Her universe navigates freely between techno, trance, and ambient. Guided by percussions, she crafts sets in constant motion, playing on contrasts of rhythm, texture, and intensity rather than on the codes of a single genre. Supported by major figures of the scene like Anetha and In Aeternam Vale, Vel has been developing a notable discography for several years. After several EPs, she released her debut album *There Is Always a Solution* in 2024, then founded her label PURR in 2025, which notably features two compilations and her ambient album *Cuddle Protocol*.

MAELITA An artist at the borders of genres, Maelita navigates between bass music, break, downtempo, and slow trance. Her unique musical approach combines depth and experimentation to create atmospheres ranging from pure intensity to introspection, resonating with those seeking to push the boundaries of sound. Among her recent releases are Wifi is Shit on the Attraction Corp. compilation, This Is How We Preak Your Toxic Positivity, No More Daddy Issues on Craquages VOL.1 (Craquage Collective), Significant Other on Soft Limits VOL.1 and Calimuchoon on Everybody Trance Records — Maelita unveils a deeply personal sonic universe where texture manipulations and rhythmic contrasts fuse with vibrant and hypnotic atmospheres. Her journey has led her to perform on prestigious stages such as Nuits Sonores and PEF, while also leaving her mark on the Everybody Trance collective through the curation of the "Washclub" party alongside Aloka, thus integrating her artistic vision into collective projects. Today, Maelita continues her sonic exploration with her residency on Noods Radio via the Synodig show, using music as a vector for questioning and dialogue. She is currently working on a new EP and developing a captivating live set, promising new sonic adventures to her audience. Combining introspection and dancefloor energy, Maelita is establishing herself as an essential figure in the French electronic scene.
