The story
Extra Terrestrial Promotions & Velvet Echoes are proud to present indie icon Yellow Days as the closing headliner of Down Stokes 2026. Blending influences from jazz, rnb, funk and soul with a recognisably drowsy yet powerful singing voice, George van den Broek has been a staple amongst the lofi/bedroom pop scene since the release of his debut EP Harmless Melodies (2016). Since then, George has developed and experimented with his songwriting, with his latest record 'Rock And A Hard Place' boasting pristine production, intimate lyricism, and ambitious musicality. If you're a fan of music that moves you (emotionally and physically) this is one not to miss!
Special guests on the evening come in the form of world music connoisseurs Yuuf, known for their dreamy and luscious soundscapes. Commencing proceedings shall be local artist Amri, who's colourful fusion of soul, jazz and R&B is building her a swift reputation in Bristol's music scene.
