The story
Raphaël Faget-Zaoui is an author, composer, performer, and musician. After the phenomenal success of Thérapie Taxi (+400,000 albums sold, 800M streams, +350,000 spectators), Raphael launched his solo career under the name Zaoui and is now the sole master aboard an ultra-effective pop that is as insolent as it is intimate.
Zaoui is extremely close to his fans and is committed to "writing the soundtrack to their lives." Indeed, Zaoui's true talent, alongside composing more than effective tracks, seems to be finely analyzing our norms and habits to highlight them in a new light.
Following a first EP Mauvais Démons (2022), Zaoui unveiled his debut album Pulsations in October 2023, driven by 6 radio singles including "Laisse aller ton corps" and "Stigmate." An instinctive and sensitive record that asserts his artistic identity. The accompanying tour confirmed his ease on stage and his direct connection with the public, culminating in a final concert at the Olympia.
In 2024, Zaoui signed a fruitful collaboration with Vernis Rouge on his track "Comme des loups" (+8M streams).
In 2025, Zaoui opens a new chapter and signs an incandescent return with "Toxic et Chic" then "Xanax mon amour." Two complementary tracks, between emotional lucidity, self-deprecation, and immediate pop melodies, which summon the Thérapie Taxi DNA while anchoring themselves in Zaoui's unique identity.
In 2026, Zaoui continues the rollout of his upcoming album (expected for September 2026) with the early April release of the single "Love Noir" featuring Stéphane. Zaoui is also setting out to meet his audience again with several live dates, including a first Parisian date on May 20, 2026, at Cabaret Sauvage.
