The story
Raphaël Faget-Zaoui is a singer-songwriter, composer, and musician. Following the phenomenal success of Thérapie Taxi (over 400,000 albums sold, 800M streams, 350,000+ spectators), Raphael has gone solo under the name Zaoui and is now the sole captain of an ultra-effective pop that is as insolent as it is intimate. Zaoui is very close to his fans and is committed to "writing the soundtrack of their lives." Indeed, it seems that Zaoui's true talent, beyond composing more than effective tracks, is finely analyzing our norms and habits to highlight them in a new light. After a debut EP Mauvais Démons (2022), Zaoui unveiled his first album Pulsations in October 2023, driven by 6 radio singles including "Laisse aller ton corps" and "Stigmate". An instinctive and sensitive record that asserts his artistic identity. The accompanying tour confirmed his stage ease and direct connection with the public, culminating in a final concert at the Olympia. In 2024, Zaoui signed a fruitful collaboration with Vernis Rouge on his track "Comme des loups" (8M+ streams). In 2025, Zaoui opened a new chapter and made an incandescent return with "Toxic et Chic" then "Xanax mon amour". Two complementary tracks, combining emotional lucidity, self-deprecation, and immediate pop melodies, evoking the Thérapie Taxi DNA while remaining anchored in Zaoui's unique identity. In 2026, Zaoui continues the rollout of his upcoming album (expected in September 2026) with the early April release of the single "Love Noir" featuring Stéphane. Zaoui is also hitting the road to reconnect with his audience through several live dates, including a first Parisian show on May 20, 2026, at the Cabaret Sauvage.
