Fiorella Mannoia is an Italian singer, born on April 4, 1954 in Rome. She began her career in 1968, and stands out in the Italian musical landscape for her distinctive vocal timbre and the finesse of her interpretations. She has sold millions of records, won the Sanremo Festival four times, and has been awarded the Ufficiale Premio della Critica twice. She is in third place on the list of artists recognized by Club Tenco and has six Tenco trophies to her credit, tied with Ivano Fossati, making her the first female performer among the top twenty personalities recognized by this organization. On June 2, 2005, she was appointed Ufficiale dell'Ordine al merito della Repubblica italiana by the President of the Republic Carlo Azeglio Ciampi. Alongside her singing career, Fiorella Mannoia has tried her hand at some cinematic experiences in comedies.
