About For 7 years with the band Noahidy and after over 300 concerts in Lorraine and throughout France, Julien is now embarking on a solo career to unveil a new universe.
In early 2011, this new, more intimate project was spotted by key figures of the Lorraine scene such as L'Autre Canal and AC2M, and is already generating buzz... He won 3 awards at the MJC Pichon song showcase (internet users, public, and jury) (Nancy, 54) and was among the seven finalists of the Pic d'Or showcase (Tarbes, 65).
Notable performances also include opening slots for Carmen Maria Vega and Pierpoljak.
"Julien M’a Dit" (Julien Told Me) tells us he is into song, that he writes lyrics and sings them accompanied by his guitar.
Is that all? No, quite the contrary!
What he forgot to mention is that he wants to talk about himself, to share his daily life, his joys as well as his doubts. A sincere approach, touching stories, because we all see a bit of ourselves in them... And besides, you can't talk about "Julien M’a Dit" without addressing his addiction to diction.
Over subtle rhythms that make you tap your feet under the table, his wordplay intertwines and ricochets, ultimately coming to tickle the ears of a conquered audience.
