Mayflo is a Parisian producer, drummer and DJ. Notably resident at Parisian Collective ItinéraireBis and French radio Station Station, he explores a vast sonic universe, ranging from the shiniest bangers to the darkest corners of Club Music. Starting with a first EP « Travail du Pied » out on Beat X Changers, Mayflo broadcasts a personal take on Chicago’s Footwork, and gets awarded « EP of the month » in 2019 by Tax Magazine. Following that, he drops tracks after tracks on several VAs such as QSS’s militant albums, Jerry Horny’s high energy VAs, and a myriad of French labels in the likes of Chineur de House, Egregore, Abri Catalog and BVHL?. In 2021, Mayflo comes back with his first vinyl on Community Center with his second EP « Solar Club Continuum ». This opus skillfully mixes House sounds with Breakbeat, Bass Music and Baltimore Club vibes, which lead it to be played all the same on WorldWide FM, Rinse FM and French public FM radio FIP. Active behind the decks since 2016, Mayflo performed in most of the clubs and alternative scenes Paris has to offer, which lead him to share the decks with French and International underground Icons in the likes of Spencer Parker, RP Boo, Francesco del Garda, Antigone, rRoxymore... During his sets, he skillfully blends genres in a constant rhythmic progression, demonstrating more than anything his love for dance in its broader sense. Yet, it’s also on the air that Mayflo is in his element. He combines multiple radio shows, hosting a Jazz-Afro-Funk infused show on former web radio Le Mellotron, as well as a monthly show on Station Station broadcasting the most interesting players of France’s emerging Bass Music Scene. Regular on Rinse France for the last 4 years, he broadcasts several recurring concepts ranging from Ambient Music to help sleeping, to experimental drum-centric electronic music.
