AS PART OF THE 30TH EDITION OF THE VILLES DES MUSIQUES DU MONDE FESTIVAL Alune Wade Album release There are artists who don't just stop there. Trained since childhood in Dakar by his father, a symphonic orchestra conductor, Alune Wade has established himself as one of the most sought-after bassists on the African music scene. A frequent collaborator of Ismaël Lô, Youssou N'Dour and Marcus Miller, he has built a solo body of work blending jazz, Cuban music, Senegalese folk and afrobeat, where every encounter becomes an ingredient. Agon Opening the show, Agon (Allafi François) brings the rising voice of Chadian afropop. Born in N'Djamena, revealed at the N'DjamVi contest and later representing Chad on The Voice Afrique Francophone, he draws from the melodies of his Chagoua neighborhood to build a universe blending afro rhythms, pop and Indian sounds, sung in Nandjéré, Lélé and local Arabic. Two generations, two Africas: the established one of a bassist who has traveled the world, and the rising one of a Chadian voice beginning his own journey. 7:00 PM: Doors open 7:30 PM: Screening of the documentary film TUKKI 8:30 PM: Concert PRICES Advance tickets: €20 At the door: €25 Free under 8 years old (the free ticket must be collected at the box office on the evening of the event) Free under 12 years old SANS VISA PASS: €15 With the Sans Visa Pass, attend 3 festival concerts and enjoy a reduced rate on each concert through the festival ticketing service.
