Aterciopelados is Colombia's iconic rock band and one of the most influential projects in Ibero-American music. Led by Andrea Echeverri and Héctor Buitrago, the band has been building a unique musical language for over 30 years, blending rock, Latin American rhythms, and ancestral roots to shape a powerful, critical, and enduring artistic identity.
In 2025, the group released Genes Rebeldes, a creative manifesto connecting the ancestral with the contemporary and reaffirming its rebellious and visionary spirit. In 2026, Aterciopelados celebrates the 30th anniversary of La Pipa de la Paz with a special tour revisiting one of Latin rock's most influential albums, confirming Aterciopelados as an essential, free, and deeply necessary band.
