Formed in London by Maria Manow and Ike Clateman, Bassvictim became known for an abrasive mix of drum’n’bass, electroclash, and punk. Far from smooth productions, the duo cultivates a deliberately chaotic and saturated sound. Their debut album, Forever, as well as the EP ?, explore a gritty nostalgia tied to adolescence and urban wandering. Between unpredictable performances and raw lyrics, they embody a DIY scene that prioritizes urgency and disorder over technical perfection.
