The story
Guerta is an artist of Vietnamese origin from the 13th arrondissement of Paris, whose universe reflects a duality between his Asian roots and his Parisian street-smart background. He discovered hip-hop at a very young age through graffiti, which gave him his tag name, and began writing at age 13, influenced by Niro and Youssoupha. From the age of 15, he performed on stage at open mics and community centers across the Île-de-France region, gradually establishing himself in the Parisian underground.
Self-taught, he met key figures like Antoine Chapus and Reek Starcks, who led him to work at the Lafabreek studio. As a sound engineer, he has collaborated with artists such as Tayc, Spri-noir, and Eva Queen. Passionate about cinema, pop culture, and graffiti, he now dedicates himself fully to music.
His writing, introspective and rooted in reality, addresses neighborhood life, family, and his view of the world. With a technical and sensitive pen, Guerta transforms his life experiences into music, blending emotional depth with rap requirements, which he delivers intensely on stage.
