In a few words
Radical, astute, complex: pop artist Kabeaushé’s performance is a massive playground. The singer, rapper and producer creates a whirlwind of styles and references that is both intense and captivating.
From his hometown of Nairobi to Berlin, where he is currently based. From French baroque music to soundtracks, via rock, hip-hop and pop. It all sounds discordant and yet, at the same time, makes complete sense as he allows a wide variety of influences from music, film and painting to intensify within his extravagant pop and cultural artwork.
Exploring notions of beauty, pain and identity to the absolute limit, this is a boundless creative force that pushes boundaries, much like the title of his second album, “KABEAUSHÉ PRESENTS: IGGY SWAGGERING UNGRATEFUL INCESSANT LITTLE PEEEAAAAAAAA”
