LA VERBENA #2 A Sunday just like in Barranquilla

On the Caribbean coast of Colombia, especially in Barranquilla or Cartagena, verbenas are synonymous with big neighborhood block parties, often on Sundays, where people eat, drink, and dance to the sound of picós, those artisanal and massive sound systems. You mostly hear African, Caribbean music, and salsa, and it's this spirit that we wanted to recreate with the picó El Mastodonte. For this second edition, we have the immense joy of welcoming the best representative and connoisseur of Picotera culture: DON ALIRIO!! A music researcher, vinyl collector, and DJ originally from Barranquilla and based in Medellín. To spice up the party, the unmissable hype men Mathias el Mastodonte and El Sofrito del Viernes will make the magnificent and authentic Parisian picó El Mastodonte vibrate: a clear and powerful sound, with round and enveloping bass. From 4 PM to 12 AM - Free before 7 PM, €10 after - Bar and Latin food trucks all evening.
