Based in Paris, Martín Burguez is a guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer who leads two dynamic musical projects: Martín Burguez & His Rhythm Combo and The Groovy Four. These bands have become pillars of the European blues and swing scene, celebrated for their vibrant performances and sophisticated arrangements. Martín's current work reflects his passion for blending classic blues, swing, and rhythm & blues with a fresh, personal style that captivates audiences and fills dance floors. Originally from Uruguay, Martín first made a name for himself in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with his band El Club Del Jump, which became a staple of the city's renowned music scene. His guitar skills have positioned him as the go-to musician for legendary blues artists such as James "Boogaloo" Bolden (BB King's bandleader), Lurrie Bell, Sax Gordon, and Kirk Fletcher. Today, Martín focuses on expanding his influence across Europe, performing at major festivals and prestigious venues while continuing to compose, produce, and develop new music. With five albums under his belt and extensive touring experience in Latin America and Europe, Martín's performances are a unique blend of technical mastery, heartfelt expression, and irresistible energy. Whether leading his own bands or collaborating with some of the genre's finest artists, Martín Burguez is a leading figure in the contemporary blues and swing scene, delivering performances that honor tradition while showcasing his distinctive voice on stage.
