NOUS ETIONS UNE ARMÉE + FOLLOÏ

Following a sold-out debut Parisian show at Point Éphémère, the band will perform at La Maroquinerie this coming November 20. Inspired by Nick Cave and Idles, the duo also delivers highly intense stage performances, where electric guitars accompany the voice all the way to a scream. Their spoken-word singing style asserts a theatricality proudly claimed by the band, in the words of Antonin Artaud: "The actor must burn on the boards like a victim at the stake." During these concerts with their almost sacrificial climax, you realize that the duo's music, if it is to touch us, will strike straight to the heart.

Opening act: FOLLOÏ

Sailing between the writing style of Odezenne and the rage of Idles, Folloï oscillates between post-punk energy and electro culture, featuring powerful French lyrics that denounce social injustices, nepotism, and a generation's disillusionment. Every concert is an intense moment of sharing, an outlet where you can jump and scream, no matter which side of the stage you're on.
