La OCHO Y MEDIA is much more than a salsa band, it is a unique formation, a collective that brings together 12 musicians with all the iconic instruments of the style, including a female and a male vocalist, a powerful brass section made up of two trombones, two trumpets, and a baritone saxophone.

We are bound by a friendship and complicity that have stood the test of time. With four albums to our credit, we are celebrating a musical adventure of over 25 years, marked by an unforgettable party on May 25, 2024 at La Maroquinerie (Paris), an album release at New Morning in April 2025, and a tour in Colombia (Cali, Bogota) in February 2026.
