Portugal. The Man reached new heights in 2017 with the release of their now platinum-certified album "Woodstock." The album was defined by the overwhelming success of their infectious single "Feel It Still," which earned the group a Grammy Award for "Best Pop Duo/Group Performance," 7x RIAA platinum certification, a record-breaking 20-week run at #1 on alternative radio, and an inescapable presence in the Top 40. The single has amassed an impressive 1.5 billion streams on Spotify.

In addition to their myriad musical achievements, the band is known for their longtime dedication to social justice. In 2020, they launched the Pass The Mic Foundation, focusing on universal issues like human rights, health, and environmental protection, with an emphasis on causes directly affecting indigenous peoples. The band is also committed to raising awareness for the DHDDS community, those affected by a rare genetic mutation, raising crucial funds for research through the "Frances Changed My Life" campaign. Created in honor of Gourley’s daughter Frances, the campaign aims to support families impacted by DHDDS. Over the past few years, the band has raised and donated over a million dollars for both charities.
