Founded between Beirut and Zurich by Raed Yassin and Paed Conca, PRAED occupy a unique place in contemporary experimental music. Crossing Arab shaabi, free jazz, electronics, and psychedelia, the duo draws on Middle Eastern popular traditions and trance music to create their own language, where improvisation, repetition, and electronic manipulation converge in a hypnotic and unpredictable flow.
