Co-head of investigations at Mediapart, Fabrice Arfi is known for his investigations that led to numerous revelations regarding the Woerth-Bettencourt, Cahuzac, and Karachi affairs, carbon quotas, and—arguably the craziest one—the Sarkozy-Gaddafi affair, whose appeal judgment is expected in November 2026. A journalist and author of about ten books, some of which have been adapted for the screen, Fabrice Arfi began his career in Lyon, working on the culture pages and court chronicles of Lyon Figaro, then at Tribune de Lyon before co-founding Mediapart in 2008.
