SATURDAY OCT 24
The music of Tess Liautaud, a French-American who has become a rising star of folk and Americana in New Zealand, defies any attempt at definition. It hangs in the balance of her warm voice, where raw emotion resonates, delivered with melodic grace and a healthy dose of country soul. This October 24 she will be joined by her band, straight from New Zealand, featuring notably Jessie Rose Shanks (a folk musician known for her clawhammer banjo playing) who was already in Paris for their duo tour in 2025.
This date in Paris, at the Bateau El Alamein, will be the very first time she presents her Americana music—a multi-influenced music from another time—with her full band in France! As a full band, her songs take on another dimension; between harmonica, banjo, or guitar solos, harmonies slip in alongside moments of wisdom or stories 'from the road'.
Tess Liautaud and her band will be fresh back from an extensive tour of the Swedish lands, which will give a special energy to this evening that promises to be electric on the magnificent Bateau El Alamein, oscillating between dreamy ballads and country twang, and above all, always overflowing with heart!
There will be special guests of course, the announcement will come later... Not to be missed!
