In a few words
The legendary Mick Harris (aka. Scorn, original Napalm Death) makes a rare appearance in London this autumn.
He will play sets from 2 different projects:
LULL (isolationist drone / deep-listening soundscapes)
BLARE WEIGHT UNIT (beats and bass, new project if you like Scorn)
Accompanied with live visuals by long time ally Stormfield.
Building up the night, SCALD performs dark, bass-heavy cinematics from their project “Asphyxia”, an audiovisual live performance which supported Mick recently at Sonic Arts Week for the Industrial Coast label. Expanding their EP into a 6 person improvisation of live vocals, strings, butoh-inspired motion sensor synths and electronics, the cast includes The Seer, UKAEA, Waterflower, Josh Curtis and Laboranta.
Joining us will be ZAMYARSKI, a London based interdisciplinary artist working across sound, visuals, performance and installation. Fresh from supporting Merzbow in Bulgaria and back to town for this event, his music is rooted in manipulated noise, abrasive textures, drones and often informed by sound art practices.
