SCHLAASSS

Legend has it that Charlie Dirty and Daddy Schwartz met in 2012 at a personal development seminar focused on screaming yoga. Following this love-at-first-sight encounter, they formed the band Schlaasss along with Kiki, the guru-beatmaker specialized in inner-massage coaching, and Mekki, an indigo-child videographer with an exceptional vibrational rate.

Some compare them to Sexy Sushi—whom they've never listened to—others to Stupeflip—whose band members don't know more than 2 tracks from. Some call it punk, sure, maybe, if you're not looking for a historical reenactment with uniforms. Others call it rap, which works since rap doesn't mean much anymore anyway. Be that as it may, Schlaasss mocks everything: punk, rap, Monoprix, Casino, Prisunic, Total, and what you should or shouldn't say to be accepted in an inbred village.

CORTO MALAISE

With a dash of 80s French Cold Wave, a healthy dose of Synth-Punk, all thrown into a Berlin blender: the CORTO MALAISE recipe leaves a distinct taste of jubilant spite. Fueled by not-so-unprovoked hatred, the two-headed monster fires live ammunition against a backdrop of dancing “boom-boom” beats, welcoming rage, anxiety, and other dark emotions into a festive outlet.
