Benjamin AUFFRAY started playing music at the age of 5. First a student at the NANTES Conservatory (violin section) for 9 years, he obtained his End of Studies Certificate at the Lons-le-Saunier conservatory in 2004. It was around this time that he discovered adapted holiday camps for people with disabilities. For several years, he took part in a company producing musical tales, played his creations in the streets, and worked in care and community leadership.

NO MONARK 1st solo project after 15 years of music and songwriting in bands, featuring psychological self-exposure and the expression of strong emotions. Because talking about oneself is sometimes the best way to speak to others without pretense.

A shared geometry, centered around loops where music and lyrics intersect. Such is the ambition of NO MONARK: to describe his vision of the world through poetic writing over a rap foundation, along with, of course, traditional song elements mixed in, as it has long been a source of inspiration.

Shyness, humor, beauty, a healthy dose of melancholy, and a bit of anger, because that is how our artist experiences the world, and that is what he wants to tell.
