Vertigo Night | Cut + The Jackson Pollock

I CUT are a rock band based in Bologna, formed in 1996. Their activity was the spark that contributed to the birth and development of one of the most important Italian independent labels, Gamma Pop.

The sound of I CUT has been described in various ways, but perhaps the most fitting was coined by the UK webzine Pennyblack Music: "John Lee Hooker straitjacketed in post-punk"

Their discography includes seven studio albums, a live album in the UK, and an E.P. for Gamma Pop itself and for other institutions of the scene such as Homesleep Music, Riff Records, and Go Down! Records.

The Jackson Pollock is an explosive duo from Bologna. Among the most sincere and direct bands around, without poses, without fake embellishments. TODAY FOREVER is their first full-length album, released by the German label Rookie Records. 12 tracks where arcade video games and Asian dramas create their personal mythology, popular music anthems that combine the violence of grind with Latin rhythms, in an intricate mixture made of simple songs towards an imaginary parallel universe, but for the listener tremendously and wonderfully real.
