Unclassifiable and visceral, nous étions une armée is a voice that speaks, shouts, and shakes things up, carried by striking guitars and unstoppable drum machines. They deliver their debut album “mais le ciel est sublime” (released in October 2025) in chiaroscuro, where melancholy is pierced by an irradiating light with a spoken-sung voice attempting to reconcile opposites. During their concerts with an almost sacrificial climax, you realize that the duo's music, if it is to touch you, will hit you straight in the heart. After two sold-out dates at Point Éphémère and La Maroquinerie, followed by opening slots for Superbus, Benjamin Biolay, and Sam Sauvage, nous étions une armée continues its rise and is going on tour all over France!
