Sondre Lerche

Singer-songwriter, film composer and born showman: Sondre Lerche is one of the most eclectic and refined voices of the international indie scene. Originally from Bergen, Norway, and now based in Los Angeles, he debuted at just 19 with Faces Down (2001), an album that Rolling Stone included among the best of the year and which earned him the Norwegian Grammy for best newcomer.

In a career spanning over twenty years, Lerche has built a unique sonic universe where sophisticated pop, contemporary jazz, bossa nova, introspective folk and electronic experimentation coexist. The trilogy Please (2014), Pleasure (2017) and Patience (2020) represents the peak of his output — three records that critics have defined as the best work of his career. In 2022, the double album Avatars of Love raised the bar even further with international collaborations (AURORA, CHAI), while the recent EP Turning Up The Heat Again (January 2026) opens a new creative chapter.

Live, Lerche is a unique experience: his contagious energy and stage presence are legendary — from stages shared with St. Vincent and Elvis Costello to NPR's Tiny Desk, up to performances for the Norwegian royal family.
